The Codex Albeldensis or Vigilanus, written in Visigothic script in 976, is a collection of decrees from the councils of Hispania and abroad and also includes the Liber Iudiciorum, the civil legislation applied in Spain until the thirteenth century. It was later copied at the Monastery of San Millán de la Cogolla (in 992) though with variations and greater ornamentation. We offer an alphabet of initial letters of paragraphs with marvelous interlace patterns and colors. |
